PrintABlok:ElectroBlok take PrintABloks and add common hobby electronics components like Arduino, servos, buttons, leds, and others, for rapid electronics prototyping allowing you to make PrintABlok creations that can play with you.

Electrobloks require electronics components that are then modified and inserted into the bloks. If you do not have these common components, the list below will give you suggested sources for them. But a simple starter kit like in the link below will usually get you started (and there are pre-plated STLs specific to this kit that you can use to make doing batch printing easier):

There are also pre-plated STLs for the components necessary for SparkFun’s Inventor kit if that’s more your style:

Or you can just print the specific Electroblock for the specific components you just have laying round. If there’s a component you want to put in an Electroblok, but isn’t already made, leave a comment and I’ll try to add it.

Most components will simply need jumper cable leads soldered to them. So in addition to basic soldering knowledge and equipment, you’ll probably want to pick up some extra breadboard jumper wires to cut up and solder to the leads: https://amzn.to/3f5GYpr

You would also benefit from having some basic PrintABloks on hand. At least print some extra connectors, and maybe a tall blok plate or a few panels to connect things together.
