The Longer LK10 Plus promises big builds and fast speeds. But can a bed slinger really be trusted? I build an arcade cabinet from e-waste to test out the capabilities and the result is a lot more frustration than it seems like it was worth to start with.
The biggest lingering problem I still have with this 3D printer is Klipper crashing. In fact I can’t seem to get through two prints in a row without having to reboot the darn thing. Being unreliable is a death sentence for a large format 3D printer. Honestly, I’m going to keep this thing around for when I need a bigger print, but only until someone with a more reliable printer wants to colaborate.
I also forgot to mention in the video but this thing is Delrin wheels riding the v-slot. I hope that alternative collaboration comes soon because these wheels ain’t gonna last.
My kids are finally old enough that I can introduce them to Mortal Kombat. Honestly, the first game still holds up. Easy to learn, easy to pull off the moves, steals your quarter on level 4, but otherwise a lot of fun.
If you want to build your own Cymoncade, then be sure to let me know by supporting me on Patreon. If I see a significant enough uptick in backers I’ll know I’m barking up the wrong tree with PrintAQuest and I’ll focus on buying the parts and building arcade machines from now on.
