In some ways I do feel bad for whining so much about something that I love so much. The truth is this printer is fantastic. It ain’t “max”, but it ain’t bad. And it is, I kid you not, my busiest printer right now. I seriously might not ever take this one out of my main office. Which is a problem, because I need the large format JGAurora A5S to come in soon. As far as problems go, this is a good one to have.
I may have destroyed my shot at that sweet, sweet Flashforge sponsorship, but at least you know I’ll always tell you the truth.
Seriously, tho, I love me some FlashForge.
I do hope that Flashforge improves the firmware at least. And I’m serious, if they offer a removable build plate upgrade I’m buying it.
Having a celphone that decides it wants to see try it’s hand at swimming, I’ve been without a phone for a while, and it’s having an impact on… everything. I some ways it’s nice, but it a lot of ways I really miss having a direct connection to twitter, an easy way to document my progress on project, and camera in my pocket. I know this isn’t the time to be whining about first world problems like not having a camera to take a good thumbnail pict with, what with the next great plague turning us all into basically Monk, but this is seriously cramping my workflow.
Despite that, my plate is pretty full right now. I’m considering a lot of options, and we’ll see what shakes out. I think Makers and Minecraft is going to only get better, but if you haven’t seen the first episode with the legendary Odd_Jayy… go check that out.
