t feels a bit odd to make a whole video basically begging for money. If this doesn’t work… well, I can’t blame anyone. But if it does, I’m totally hoping we can get both Douglas and myself out there because it would be a great time. Of course there’s the question of will I fly, drive, or maybe take a train out there? Could be a good chance for some traveling content.
I did manage to get the 3D printer together… kind of. It’s non-functional, as it has no control board. And even if it did, getting the CD motors to run proved problematic, which is why it was abandoned for the later designs that actually worked. But it succeeded as a proof of concept.
I took a family vacation last week and I have to admit I’m having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. While I was there it was easy to say “when I get back I’m gonna…”, now that I’m back it feels like my gumption is gone. But I’m still getting stuff done. For instance, I got this video recorded and out.
