The thumbnail image is an edit of “the death of Socrates” because this is a hill I will die on. I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again, flashforge is one of the only companies that I would be willing to accept a full ride sponsorship from. I haven’t felt this way about a company since pre-Stratasys makerbot. (Of course I learned from that and won’t be rebranding my channel as “Joe’s Flashforge” without a major sponsorship deal.)
But BTS, I’m worried about the future of Flashforge. They’re not as responsive as I feel a company in their position should be. It feels like they’re struggling, and that doesn’t bode well for getting parts for the future. Not that that would effect if I used them for my imaginary print farm setup, but it just means I’d stock up on hot ends first. Of course I wish that print farm wasn’t imaginary, I just need a new space for them.
PrintAQuest is still on my mind. I need to finish the swamp so I can move on to the next big things.
