Best 3D Printer for Beginners 2024

As I’m writing this I am suffering under some kind of illness that is making me miserable. Just thought I’d mention it incase this post devolves into inane rambling, so you can know what’s going on.

Uploading prints to the Creality Cloud from you phone is slightly more involved than I made is sound in the video. What you have to do is:

  • Download the STL to you phone or tablet.
  • Open Creality Cloud and choose “Upload Model” (not Upload Print Files).
  • +Add Files and find your STL. You may have to fiddle with your file picker to get it off images.
  • “Next”
  • Now you’re in Creality Cloud’s file upload process where it asks you for a description and images… forget all that. Give it a name (my go to is “foo”), mark it as “Only Me” and hit “Submit”
  • Agree to their “I promise I have copyright on this” prompt and your file will upload.
  • Once the upload is complete, select your object.
  • Choose “Slice”
  • And just like that you’re in the slicer. You can move, scale, and rotate your object, change setting, slice the file, and check the preview.
  • It will then take you to the slices you have. Choose the one you just sliced, click “Print” and upload it to your printer.

And that’s it. No computer 3D printing with Creality. It’s amazing, and no one else I know is doing it. Imma talk this up everywhere.
