This is the first video recorded with my brand new camera rig. I hope the difference is noticeable. That said, if no one says anything, is that a success?
With the AstroPrint egg, one problem I foresaw is that it couldn’t scale up. If you scaled it up, the intended-to-fail parts would be thick enough to print, and would ruin the whole thing. Does my design address that? Yes and no. While it will definitely fail where it’s supposed to, will the increased distance of the gaps ruin the whole thing? Maybe. It’s an experiment I plan to try in the future. But I wanted to get these egg shell models out now so that you can use them for Easter.
What about the animal models? I’ve still got some work on a few of them, which is why only the teddy bear is released for now. I’m afraid they probably won’t be ready by Easter. But I’ve got some plans for those.
Sorry for this being a day late. Some of it was convention clean up/burn out. Some of it was last minute edits to the models before uploading them. Hopefully I can get my stuff together quickly because I have a lot of great stuff that I can’t wait to share with you, including a few MRRF breakdowns, 2 new board games, and, of course, more cute animals.
